Product & Creator Communications Manager

Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing platform for live experiences that allows anyone to create, share, find and attend events that fuel their passions and enrich their lives. THE TEAM 

Eventbrite’s dynamic global communications team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s narratives are conveyed effectively, consistently and in a manner that aligns with our mission and values. We are media strategists, former journalists, content creators, data analysts and impactful storytellers.

THE ROLE

We are searching for an all-star Product and Creator Communications Manager to develop and implement communications plans to introduce differentiating product features that help transform the way people organize events, and amplify success stories of Eventbrite creators (event planners) who have leveraged Eventbrite to grow their business and bring unique live experiences to consumers worldwide. The position is remote and reports to the Director of Consumer and Product Communications.

YOU WILL

• Collaborate on the development and execution of a comprehensive product and creator communications strategy 
• Leverage existing event industry, music, entertainment, tech and business media relationships to elevate awareness and coverage of Eventbrite’s differentiating product offerings
• Manage inbound press requests and proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to source product and creator storytelling opportunities 
• Secure relevant press, speaking, and thought leadership opportunities for product leaders, and help manage and prep them (draft messaging, create briefing docs, etc.)
• Develop strategic press announcements, plans, and social media content for key product and creator launches, partnerships, and milestones 
• Partner closely with product and creator teams to make strategic recommendations on how and when to launch new products and features

THE SKILL SET

• Comms Pro: You bring 6+ years of experience in PR/communications–a background in product/tech communications is a bonus!
• Expert Wordsmith: Writing compelling content will be a huge part of your role. From crafting polished news announcements to coming up with insightful narratives, your ability to clearly articulate ideas sets you apart. 
• Media Relations Specialist: You foster strong relationships with top-tier journalists and are a pro at securing earned press coverage. 
• Influential Strategist: This role requires a highly strategic thinker and the ability to influence cross-functional partners to buy into new ideas. 
• Make-it-Happen Attitude: Things move quickly at Eventbrite! The ability to pivot and acclimate quickly will be a key to success in this role. 
• Agile Project Manager: Strong project management skills are much needed as you'll be overseeing multiple projects at once, all while juggling an incredibly fast-paced environment.
