The E-commerce Product Addition Specialist (Data Entry Specialist) is an integral part of the success of our online business. The Product Addition Specialist will work daily to maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and e-commerce teams. The Product Addition Specialist will support the buying team in administration and execution of online product strategies. This is an entry-level position with advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

Job Function and Responsibilities:

• Own onboarding of new product additions by utilizing product data supplied from vendor, internal category pricing and assortment strategy and internal information management system to ensure product accuracy.
• Efficiently and accurately perform data entry and product maintenance
• Manage workflow of new product, prioritizing tasks to meet team goals
• Assist Buyer(s) with product assortment, pricing and merchandising strategies.
• Support Buyer(s) in the execution of all related merchandising activities including spreadsheet creation, pricing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productively drive company initiatives and objectives.
• Ensure accuracy of newly launched product on the website, and report any site issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred (i.e., buying, merchandising, buying internship or store level experience)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry and product maintenance tasks daily
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and PC skills, with an emphasis on spreadsheet applications
• Stellar organizational skills and an ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to identify and solve basic problems, escalate to leadership as appropriate
• Demonstrated initiative and a positive can-do attitude
• Agile and flexible to the needs of the business
• Available 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday to work in a professional office setting
