As a Product Delivery Brand Manager within the Cartes Bancaires and other Payment Brands team, you will be tasked with enhancing and optimizing the maintenance and delivery of our products to customers. You will work closely with Product Owners and Payment Brand representatives to manage changes made by the Brand, creating efficient solutions to ensure successful and organized implementation. Your role will require a deep understanding of payment processing and the Cartes Bancaires network, as well as the ability to interpret Payment Brand documentation to identify the impacts of business and technical changes. You will be responsible for ensuring the clarity of Payment Brand's documentation and will provide consultative support to the Product Domains in the development of requirements. Your leadership and influence will be crucial in promoting productive change with the Payment Brands and fostering collaboration across JP Morgan Stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
  • Tracks the full lifecycle of payment brand announcements, including the monitoring and tracking of each announcement, for audit purposes
  • Reviews each announcement identifies and effectively communicates impacts including: business, technical, operational and pricing
    Collaborates with Product, Client Communication and Field Strategy teams to create internal and external communications, as required, for each article
  • Maintains an excellent working knowledge of the payment brand rules, particularly Cartes Bancaires, and processing specifications
  • Engages on all Global Projects/Initiatives as required, and contributes to the overall objectives of the wider team
  • Collaborates to ensure all changes are clearly understood so that effective and accurate requirements are captured for project delivery
  • Monitors and reports on items that have not been committed to a project that could have financial or processing impacts
  • Acts as a liaison between internal JP Morgan teams, Cartes Bancaires and other Payment Brands for queries that arise out of the announcements
  • Owns and tracks, through resolution, Payment Brand related inquiries and issues raised by internal teams and clients

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Sound understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
  • Must be able to challenge traditional thinking and champion change
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience of working with Cartes Bancaires and other payment brands (e.g. Visa and MasterCard)
  • Fluency in French and English with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions
  • Strategic thinker, a thought leader and highly collaborative
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a matrix organization and leading through ambiguity

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
