THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Interns are pivotal to our company’s long-term success.  You will be a key member of our Product Design team which is part of a larger Product Experience team.  The Product Experience team is composed of Product Designers, User Researchers, Product Analysts, and Visual Designers.

The mission of the Product Design team is to produce award winning designs that meet our customer and user needs.  We are customer obsessed.  We craft and design products that are useful, easy to use, and create delightful experiences. This is done by understanding the problem and the needs of our users. You’ll be hands-on working with a fantastic team of Designers, Product Managers, Researchers, and Engineers throughout the product life cycle. 

Come join the product design team in helping put Salesloft customers first! You’ll be participating in customer interviews, brainstorming sessions, shadowing end users, designing in figma, receiving and giving design feedback, and usability studies.   In addition, you will also have the opportunity to make an impact to our design system by upleveling our design patterns and applying the latest accessibility guidelines.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a group of hungry, humble, and smart college students to join us from May to August 2022. If you’re passionate about innovation, growth, and serving customers and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, then a Salesloft Internship is for you!

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU: 

• Are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university in the state of Georgia
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).
• A portfolio demonstrating experience in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.  Specifically we want to see how you apply design thinking into your work.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as attention to detail 
• Are ambitious and driven, thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment 
• Demonstrate a teamwork mentality and willingness to assist wherever needed 
  

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

• Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
• Work alongside an incredible mentor with a design team to support your growth and development
• Explore Salesloft design systems and patterns
• Begin 1:1’s with your manager, and meet current members of the Salesloft product experience  team that will be key relationships in accomplishing your goals 
• Set goals with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

• Become knowledgeable of your pod’s surface area
• Collaborate with creative team members, program managers, and developers to define and iterate new and existing product features. Ensure optimal designs.  
• Conceptualize and deliver artifacts at various levels of fidelity.
• Complete a project adding real value to the team you are working with throughout the summer
• Gain exposure to leadership by presenting your work/learnings over the last few months
• Leave with an understanding of the sales enablement technology space
• Have a lot of fun along the way!
