Product Design Intern

CLEAR interns solve real-world problems within collaborative teams of the industry’s most innovative technologists to build some of the world’s most advanced services and devices. You will also have oceans of opportunities to network with senior leaders, develop new skills through our summer events in NY, NY and Austin, TX, develop presentations, and volunteer opportunities.

What You'll Do:

CLEAR Product Design projects are specifically tailored to each intern, ensuring a meaningful contribution to both your skill set and CLEAR. As a CLEAR Intern, you will help our Product Design and UX Research team bring digital product experiences to life. You will contribute to understanding, defining, and developing UX so that our UX/UI meets our high bar for quality and craft all while being mentored by high-caliber Product Designers who are invested in your success.

Who You Are:

You are a problem-solver with a passion for understanding user needs and behaviors, and creating digital experiences. You are curious with a drive for continuous learning and growth. 

You are currently enrolled full-time as a student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field, graduating anytime between December 2023 - Spring 2024.

What You're Great At:

• Have a strong conceptual understanding of design principles for web or mobile, and UX methods across the design process
• Can create wireframes, flows and mock-ups that communicate product functionality
• Develop user interfaces that reflect a defined visual design direction or leverage components from a design system
• Can work with Product Managers and Designers to transform product requirements into intuitive, and easy-to-use solutions
• Conduct qualitative interviews to gather user input on digital product concepts
• Up for diving into tackling ambiguity, thinking differently, and new problem spaces
• Are a strong, effective communicator and collaborator

The base salary range for this role is $45/hr, depending on levels of skills and experience.
