The Product Design Lead will manage and elevate a dynamic team of UX/UI designers and researchers at Trafilea to craft world-class user experiences and robust design systems across our e-commerce platforms. Drive the vision and execution of innovative design solutions that enhance the entire customer journey leveraging a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders customers and cross-functional teams to develop simple yet impactful designs upholding brand integrity while placing the user at the forefront of every decision.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of UX/UI designers providing clear direction feedback and support in their design projects.

• Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the design team.

• Mentor and develop team members setting personal and professional growth goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user stories and requirements ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and business goals.

• Prepare and present strong hypotheses to internal teams and key stakeholders on SQUADS or Tribe Sessions.

• Act as a liaison between the design team and other departments ensuring alignment and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

• Design and deliver outstanding prototypes that clearly illustrate how users can navigate different user flows.

• Iterate prototypes according to user pain points frustrations and goals ensuring the final product aligns with user expectations.

• Propose information architecture enhancements for Trafilea’s brands driving continuous innovation in the design approach.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in product design with a proven track record of delivering impactful user experiences in an e-commerce or digital product environment.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and strategies to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in design thinking methodologies user research and data-driven decision-making.

• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of designers fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and continuous learning.

• Deep understanding of design systems UI/UX best practices and emerging design trends.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools and a willingness to adapt to new tools and technologies as needed.

• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects with a focus on conversion optimization and growth.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools to leverage data and insights for more valuable design proposal.

• Proven experience in evaluating and optimizing processes within a Product Design Team with a focus on enhancing collaboration and efficiency with stakeholders.
