Product Design Lead, NYC

The Role

Entera's Product Design team takes complex flows and tasks and makes them elegant and intuitive for our internal/external users. We are looking for an experienced Product Design Lead to guide the team and establish a world-class function at Entera. The primary function of this role is to develop and improve our design system, establish scalable interaction design across our entire product portfolio, wholly own user experience across our entire platform, and mentor a team of designers. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure that your vision for a world-class user experience comes to fruition. When applying, please provide a portfolio. 

What you'll do:

• Establish a world-class design system that scales
• Bring a perfectionist attitude to usability and UX across our entire product portfolio
• Oversee and contribute to interaction design across all interfaces
• Solve difficult UX problems with beautifully intuitive interfaces
• Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to improve existing experiences and bring new ones to life
• Coach and manage a team of designers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in product design and UX.
• People management experience 
• 2+ years of experience coaching and managing UI/UX designers.
• Experience designing across multi-product portfolios, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, UI mockups and prototypes.
• Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.
• Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.
• Ability to work across functions and create collaboration opportunities and influence business, product and engineering stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of defining reusable patterns and frameworks that scale feature sets with cohesion and strong proven usability.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and ProtoPie.
• Experience leading a User Research function is a plus.

*For those applicants in the NYC area, the salary range for this role is $124,000 to $190,000 plus an annual bonus. The salary offered will be based on experience, role, and location.
