Would you like to be an early part of a company with lots of growth potential? Corvus Insurance seeks a talented Manager of Product Design to join our ambitious, and growing Product Design team. We are a dynamic team of entrepreneurial professionals with backgrounds in insurance and technology creating a commercial insurance company that combines the latest technology with traditional insurance. You will be instrumental in working with our Engineering and Product teams to incorporate your talented design skills into our state of the art software products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3-5 Product Designers and participate in the hiring and onboarding
  • Responsible for performing routine 1 on 1s as well as talent reviews
  • Facilitate design collaboration across cross-functional software product teams 
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on various projects 
  • You will propose, organize and project manage design team initiatives
  • You will facilitate Design Thinking sessions
  • You will participate as a designer on one of our software product teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product/UX design experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing designers
  • You can communicate effectively and educate both designers and non-designers
  • Experience hiring, onboarding and coaching designers
  • User-centric with a keen focus on solving problems and delivering value
  • Advanced design skills in interaction, visual and research
  • You are a systems thinker and have experience developing design systems

We believe in paying equitably for performance. Actual salaries will vary and may be
above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to
experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and geography. Please note that the
salary range that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only. The base
salary range for this position is: $135,000 - $155,000, subject to final approval.  This position may
be eligible for performance-based incentives.
