Product Design Manager

Description

As Product Design Manager you will support InVue's mission, which is to improve operations and customer experience for the world's most valuable brands and critical infrastructure organizations, by developing and implementing and IoT Platform strategy to accelerate software recurrent revenues.

The Software Solutions category includes InVue's IoT solutions to provide operational visibility, control access, decrease theft, and enhance user experience in retail and datacenter environments. InVue's IoT solutions empower businesses to make better decisions, achieve operational targets, and protect their most valuable assets.

Reporting to the VP of Software Solutions, you will develop and implement a customer centric IoT Platform strategy to accelerate InVue's software solutions recurrent revenues. You will leverage advanced connected sensors, edge devices, and multi-cloud software to create and lead the cross-functional execution of innovative software product roadmaps that connect data from people, assets, and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the creation and drive execution of a scalable IoT Platform.
• Build market-centric platform roadmap, focused on retail, while collaborating with engineering to develop foundational architecture for scalable applications and services.
• Execute product strategy for IoT applications and services, build value-prop, market fit, pricing and gross margin, enable sales, and drive key customer engagements.
• Develop and manage implementation of a multiyear strategic plan and roadmap to ensure all prioritized projects achieve quality, time, cost, and sales targets.
• Own the edge-to-cloud product development and optimization for an efficient data lifecycle management for public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise deployments.
• Lead engagement with internal/external stake holders to translate technical value into business value by understanding and effectively solving main customers' problems.
• Manage and ensure the overall success of IoT platform through quantifiable business value through weekly reporting of technical and commercial metrics and KPIs.
• Own roadmap prioritization and commercialization efforts, including development and cloud infrastructure costs management, pricing, timelines, and market impact.
• Understand market dynamics, voice of customer, competitive product offerings, and bring product improvement and new product recommendations into discussion.
• Energize, evangelize, and educate global sales and marketing teams, and partners (VAR, SI, ISV) as to the benefits of InVue's technology stack and product portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience with relevant software product management or engineering role.
• 4+ years of product management experience with end-to-end SaaS using agile methodology (strategy, design, launch, execution, zero-to-one, scale, and sustaining).
• Domain knowledge of the retail space.
• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA is a plus.
• Demonstrated success driving adoption and retention for B2B SaaS products.
• Ability to travel upward of 30%, including global travel.
