Product Design Verification Stability Engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Product Design Verification Stability Engineer to join their team. As a Product Design Verification Stability Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for quality assurance which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Design Verification Stability Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: $20-$30 per hour on W-2 depending upon experience

What's the Job?

• Develop V&V software test project plans including regression planning and testing of software during the development process.
• Develop V&V software test procedures using current industry standards (e.g. ISO, IEEE, CMMI).
• Effectively manage test project schedules by communicating project workload, executing planned activities, and coordinating with the larger project team.
• Generate test guidelines for the software team, Quality, and Engineering groups for testing software during development.
• Develop and implement automated test procedures to streamline testing processes, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.

What's Needed?

• A STEM Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Four years of academic or work experience in Software Quality Engineering and/or Software Test Methodologies.
• Experience in technical writing such as engineering plans, test methods, protocols, and reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office business software – Word, Excel, Project.
• Experience with benchtop test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power supply, Flowmeter, and Manometer.
