Product Designer

We're growing! Yext needs a talented Product Designer with 2+ years of SaaS product design experience to augment our Product UX team. Ideal candidates will have a passion for finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our products. They will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always passionate about the needs of the customer. Successful candidates will be curious and detailed in their design execution and have a successful track record operating within design systems. Must be inclined to work in team settings, be methodical in making design decisions, and Agile-oriented.

• Build breadboards, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and hi-fidelity mockups that build on the foundation of atomic design components to communicate your designs
• Contribute to vetting and prioritizing solutions in an iterative and collaborative process
• Help identify and analyze user needs or problems through participation in user research that flows into design decisions
• Coordinate with engineering teams to provide them with detailed designs and requirements that help with their implementation
• Seek constructive feedback from team members to rapidly produce multiple solutions that lead to better outcomes
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Participate in the internal development of our design system and promote its adoption across our company
• Consider our customer’s needs and find opportunities to pitch product expansion ideas or new features for existing products
• Stay up to date on current SaaS industry trends and market conditions

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and sharing your work early and often
• Willingness to collaboration and receiving feedback from other product designers, PMs, engineers, and collaborators
• Experience working within a design system or atomic pattern library
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
• A well-rounded portfolio of work, demonstrating a solid understanding of SaaS product objectives
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade others to adopt your design concepts
• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences

• BA/BS degree or higher in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, UX, product, industrial, HCI), or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of professional experience as a product or UX designer for SaaS interfaces
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Working knowledge of development languages such as React, HTML, CSS
• Proficiency in organization tools like Slack, Google docs, or Excel
• A jaw-dropping online portfolio, free of typos

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $110,250 - $213,500. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
