Product Designer

The Position: The Product Designer position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISN’s products and services. As a member of ISN’s Design & User Experience Team, the Product Designer is responsible for creating design solutions for ISN products that promote user adoption, self-service and ease of use. You will follow a customer-centered design process that understands our customers, their goals, needs and motivations. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.

Who should apply?

• 3+ years of experience in UI, Product design, or Mobile App design, preferably at a SaaS Company
• Excellent understanding of B2B and B2C user-experience design for mobile and web
• Demonstrate UI design skills through a strong portfolio
• Practical knowledge of latest UI/UX trends and techniques in web design, adaptive/responsive principles in mobile/desktop applications
• Experience creating interactive prototypes with tools like Figma (preferred), ProtoPie, Sketch, inVision or Adobe XD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design compelling customer experience solutions for ISN products, including ISN’s new mobile app, Empower
• Lead the development, implementation and evolution of design standards and best practices for mobile app design and experience
• Assist with initiative to simplify User Interface (UI) and improve User Experience (UX) across all ISN products
• Help establish design requirements and ensure guidelines are followed
• Facilitate and evolve ISN’s product design language, its components and design patterns, from concept to implementation
• Document design guidelines and actively share knowledge on how to utilize design system
• Develop wireframes and/or mockups for usability testing
• Work closely with Front-End Developers, Software Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and QA Testers to determine prototype feasibility
• Work with customers to identify and recommend user experience improvements
