About the company

Convictional (YC’18) built a platform that connects large retailers with small e-com shop owners. This platform allows large retailers to seamlessly expand their product line by offering unique products that are directly sourced from smaller e-com shop owners. As a result, the large retailers are able to sell products that are on brand and in demand while the smaller e-com shops benefit by selling substantially more products to a much larger audience. About the role

As the first full-time product designer at Convictional, you will have a leading role in establishing the look and feel of our web platform based on an existing design system. By taking initiative and learning about our user's needs and business goals we will be giving you full creative freedom to decide what needs to be designed next. Once a plan is set, you’ll own the evolution of product features from start to finish as you help with user research, UX, and UI.

What is the team structure?

• You will be working on a pod which has 3 engineers and 1 product manager.

What does the product design / development cycle look like?

• You will establish a design process that works for you best and we will fit in the development cycle which currently works on a 2 week sprint structure.

How long with the remote work policy stick around for?

• We were remote before remote work was cool and plan on staying that way forever.

The ideal candidate

• Has at least 3+ years of experience designing web products and design systems using Sketch or Figma.

• Has a proficient design process that includes talking with users, translating research insights into design requirements, iterating on wireframes, and delivering pixel perfect mockups.

• Has experience with B2B, Enterprise tools, E-Commerce and/or API products (i.e. Stripe).
