Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Designer with extensive experience in creating user-centered designs to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. If you have a passion for design, a knack for solving complex user experience problems, and experience working in a startup environment, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly product interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all product design elements.
  • Continuously iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and testing results.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Present and communicate design ideas and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and user interface (UI) design.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.

Tactic allows designers to work remotely, and this role can work anywhere provided there is sufficient overlap with Tactic HQ based in Lehi, UT USA Mountain Time zone (GMT-6).
