About You : You believe design is a verb, not a deliverable. We are looking for a Product Designer experienced in advocating for the user while taking into account both the business and technical constraints. This will require you to both understand the problem you are solving while being mindful of the larger business goals. You know that the constraints of technology are just as important as their promise because it's in the constraints we find our best ideas. Ideally, you're someone who sees the patterns in the chaos and knows how to translate those patterns into tools for the design team. You know when to diverge on design concepts, when to drive consensus through effective storytelling, and how to bring the product teams you work with through all stages of the design process.
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our B2B Corporate team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our suite of corporate products, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our corporate clients. You will leverage your expertise in design thinking, user research, and prototyping to create intuitive and efficient solutions that address the unique needs of our corporate partners both big and small.
Some Challenges You'll Tackle:

• In addition to UX expertise, you have an understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task
• Turning nebulous concepts to specific ideas that are useful and delightful product features
• Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and beautiful and drive consensus
• Lead high-level project work from a design perspective with autonomy and authority, facilitating design working sessions to help the team deliver the best possible solutions
• Be the voice in the room that puts the user first! Turn data collected from research, user testing and market analysis into tangible solutions.
• Understand how to best use the current design system to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to it's continuous improvement
• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering and Marketing
• Be a positive role model and culture carrier within the studio as well as an advocate for design within the GH organization

You Should Have:

• At least 3 years of practical, in-house product, UI/UX design experience for an e-commerce consumer facing brand or B2B with a focus on complex flows and use cases
• An arsenal of design tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools
• Applied experience with service design practices and a practice of constantly evolving your design process
• Applied experience working across all digital and physical manifestations of what we design - from responsive web to native applications to the next technological leap; mobile (iOS and Android) design experience is a plus
• Understanding of prototyping methodologies and practices, user research methodologies and A/B test planning/execution
• A passion for sharing design strategies with fellow designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver a better, more user-centered product
• An acute self-awareness and deep empathy - for both the customer and your team's goals
• Experience with either front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), or using prototyping tools that approximate them
• Excellent communication and data visualization skills. You can bring internal stakeholders on your design journey and support your decisions with focus and brevity
• A deep curiosity and ability to consider product strategy and vision. You don't just care about "how it looks," or "what we should design," but "why are we designing this at all?

New York Salary Range: $120,000- $132,000
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.
