Join our Platform Design team in this B2B2C role to transform how financial institutions deliver products through instantaneous, personalized, and proactive financing experiences across a financial institution’s entire portfolio of products. The engine behind this transformation is the Blend Builder: a low-code tool that empowers financial institutions to quickly release new world-class products to their customers in months instead of years. 

As a Senior Designer, you’re exceptional in design craft and are keenly interested in translating complexities into streamlined experiences that accommodate technical and non-technical users alike. On the Platform Design team, you will be responsible for digging deep into the technical aspects of the platform and aligning them with our customers’ goals through the design lens. You’re a hands-on designer and well-versed in executing end-to-end: from product discovery, user research, and interaction design to visual execution.

• Design experiences that transform how users interact with the Blend Builder to help it better service Blends customers. 
• Challenge the status quo of current experiences and constraints, constantly pushing the boundaries and helping define the standards of a modern low-code builder.
• Lead projects & initiatives — helping define strategy and user experience vision through cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Collaborate closely with the Blend Platform’s Product Management, Engineering, and Design team to develop best-in-class experiences

• Proactive and resourceful self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can make decisions with imperfect data
• Enjoy digging into the technical details that power any given user experience
• Comfortable with every stage of the design cycle, from user research to prototyping to next-generation ideation
• Harness your excellent interaction and visual design skills to build obsessively well-thought-out work
• A systems thinker eager to transform manual processes by defining where and how user experiences should materialize
• A strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator that can balance engineering, customer, and product tradeoffs with user needs
• 5+ years experience doing design full-time / a portfolio demonstrating exceptional quality in product design

To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $151,000 and $189,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.  

Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
