Job Description

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our AI pillar which is focused on making Figma more powerful and approachable with AI. With the recent launch of Figma AI the team rolled out a set of features to customers which helps them go from idea to production faster. These features are just a taste of what the team is exploring and we’re only scratching the surface of the possibilities. We’re looking for a designer who has a proven track record of working with cutting edge technologies to design delightful experiences. In this role this person would be helping to identify new opportunities designing concepts defining and communicating a vision developing prototypes and helping build towards our vision.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction

  • Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities

  • Work cross-functionally with product management engineering design and research peers

  • Create collaborate and iterate on flows prototypes and high-fidelity visuals

  • Design and ship high-quality product improvements

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software

  • Experience working independently to explore concepts from beginning to end

  • Demonstrated ability to design simple solutions to complex user problems

  • Experience handling complex projects with overlapping organizational lines

  • Proficiency in prototyping your ideas to help articulate nuanced design decisions

While it’s not required it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience designing UX solutions built on the latest in AI technology

  • A generative spirit and excitement about coming up with novel simple solutions

  • An eye for high-quality well-crafted visual and interaction design and a passion for UI details

  • A knack for figuring out ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and prioritize work effectively

  • Experience mentoring junior or early career designers
