Summary of Position

The Product Designer is responsible for designing Nexon’s game websites and platforms, including UI design, component design and interaction design based on UX design. This includes looking for methods and tools to improve product design processes, as well as driving specialized web projects and new website experiences, as requested from other teams.

This role is a 6-month contracted position.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality design projects from ideation to execution, including UI assets, layout design, user flow and interaction design

• Work closely with the Manager, Web Product to design new features and improve existing features across Nexon’s web and mobile products

• Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, including the Development, Design, and Localization teams, to produce and prepare website activity for Nexon’s titles

• Successfully communicate product design concepts, ranging from strategy and design concepts to UI and individual components, to a broad range of audiences

• Standardize and develop component design, layout design, design details, according to Nexon’s branding

• Utilize methods and tools for developing and improving web content; building content with rough wireframe design; JIRA for Localization Team’s web copy (Korean to English, and English to all other languages) as necessary

Work Experience

• 2-3+ years of website content creation and digital marketing experience

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Experience Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience

Knowledge/Skills

• Proficiency in current design and prototyping tools (Figma, Axure, etc) and ability to learn new tools as projects require

• Experience developing user interface design based on wireframing, prototyping and mockups

• Familiarity with user interface design and information architecture

• Impressive portfolio with relevant UX/UI experience

• Strong understand of user-centered design methods

• Experience conducting concept and usability testing to gather feedback

• Excellent documentation and presentation skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $76,882 - $115,324 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
