Product Designer (Early Professional)

We are seeking a Product Designer (Early Professional) to help design our C3 AI applications and design system. You’ll work alongside other designers to understand customer issues, create innovative solutions, and deliver products that allow our customers to make fast and accurate business decisions. Your portfolio presentation should demonstrate a strong sense of craft and an understanding of best practices and design principles.

• Design Systems Enthusiast: You have a strong understanding of design systems and are skilled at creating simple and consistent designs that are usable across multiple products.
• Data-Driven Designer: Using data and analytics, you make design decisions that demonstrate a high level of craft and align with user needs and business objectives.
• Craftsmanship Exemplar: Your attention to detail is evident in your work, showcasing your sense of style, including visual and interaction design.
• Communication and Collaboration: You welcome feedback for your work. You invest in building solid relationships and providing feedback to other designers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with design and product leadership to refine design concepts, evolve our design language, and bring new ideas to life.
• Document design concepts.
• Collaborate with the entire design team to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Promote design insights and drive the adoption of design best practices across the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction, graphic design, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to pixel perfection and holistic user experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience designing products and design systems.
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional team.
• Proven experience with pixel-perfect execution of designs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of accessibility best practices.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
