Product Designer II

This role will help usher in next generation experiences for our portfolio of brands. The UX Designer II will work across the full suite of brands, mentor other designers, and help evolve our enterprise design system. Individual responsibility is very high, but impact and reward are huge. The design team structure at Inspire is a blended model. All UX at Inspire belongs to a centralized team within the Product organization, but designers also belong to pod teams of product managers, developers, analysts, and researchers, working as one to ship entire lines of business.

With the UX team being given the option to be remote, you have the option to work out of the Atlanta support center, or from your home US location on EST hours, with 5-10% travel to Atlanta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define opportunities by embedding with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Brand, et al. Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into testing hypotheses.
• Sketch, wireframe, and prototype product experiments. Collaborate with engineers to investigate concept feasibility.
• Coordinate UX research and test solutions directly with Inspire guests.
• Design high-fidelity, content-first solutions with UI, visual, and interaction excellence. Iterate with developers during the build phase to realize and ship new products.
• Advocate for and initiate product iteration to improve shipped work. Evaluate new insights and iterate again, quickly.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

• Minimum 5 years experience in product thinking, e-commerce, interaction design, visual design, and design research

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

• Self-directed, organized, efficient: able to manage multiple, complex decisions at once. An effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.
• Hands-on experience designing moderated and unmoderated user research. Possesses an insatiable curiosity for unraveling complexity.
• Develops expert knowledge of industry, competitive, comparative, complementary products. Ensures clear, defensible problem statements exist for design solutions.
• Delivers results in an agile, iterative design environment.
• A bold portfolio of product and interaction design work.
• Expert in modern UX design and UX research tools.
• Delivers gorgeous designs to a variety of device experiences.
• Proficient in Figma or Adobe XD
• Nice to have: experience in animation tools like Adobe After Effects
