Product Designer - NYC

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our growing product design team from our office in NYC.

The ideal candidate has a passion for design experiences & technology along with great communication skills.

The Design Team is responsible for defining, creating, and improving all user flows, interfaces, and touch points across all our products (2 apps, internal web pages, website, and more).

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in our product strategy, planning and the creative process
• Design flows, new features & experiences that are simple and elegant - from concept to production
• Product lifecycle from research through brainstorming, workshops, and prototyping to pixel-perfect design
• Help the product team conduct usability testing, A/B tests, user research, interviews, etc.
• Demonstrate incredible attention to detail, on all levels
• Work with team members, managers, engineers, and other team members to refine and improve our investors', residents', and internal tools
• Stay up-to-date with current design trends

Requirements

• A strong portfolio consisting of digital projects, user research, testing
• At least 4+ years of professional design experience doing UX for a solution in a tech company.
• Strong skills and knowledge of all related creative tools and design software
• Passion for clean design
• High level of written and spoken English
• Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication or Interactive Design or equivalent
• Experience in performing user research, usability tests, and data analysis - a plus!
