You work as part of a cross-functional team to lead and deliver the activities required to complete Process Design and Process Deployment for Innovation, Growth and Productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience
How you will contribute
With the support of a manager and technical coaches, you will design and implement projects in line with R&D, marketing and manufacturing requirements and effectively communicate project statuses and risks. As part of that planning process, you will conduct activities to generate the appropriate process information, using modelling, simulations, and pilot plant and plant trials in accordance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements. You will also plan and conduct process development activities including process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning, technical risk assessments and create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications. In this role, you will assist in planning the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies, and manage stakeholders, making recommendations and influencing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data. You will also create intellectual property to drive competitive advantage.

What you need to know about this position:
Role is responsible for NA Biscuit branded products to deliver against margin management goals and ensure ongoing quality. • Drive excellence in Project Management. • Plan and execute work plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans. • Analyze results of experiments and translates them into actionable recommendations with minimal guidance and support.• Have strong knowledge of the commercialization process. • Identify and efficiently utilize necessary resources to achieve timely delivery of project objectives.
Good understanding of the functional characteristics of ingredients, packaging materials, and processing capabilities and how they impact finished products to meet consumer expectations.

Individuals should be versatile, and able to work in cross-functional teams, and be capable of working proactively across multiple projects. Individual should be able to leverage experts/ partners, utilizing their understanding of the supply chain; ensure compliance to documentation, shelf life, regulatory requirements for North America, FTO/IP, and confidentiality requirements.
Education / Certifications:
Minimum requirement Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Chemical Engineering
Job specific requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in the food industry• Leading technical programs and influencing cross-functional teams through commercialization (from ideation to plant trials)• Handling multiple priorities prioritize and manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization in plants • Proactively identifying complex technical or business problems and creating and implementing solutions• Applying technical curiosity and understanding to interpret and analyze data• Effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders verbally and in writing, including writing technical report conclusions

No relocation support available. Must live within commuting distance to East Hanover site. Hybrid working model but must be able to come to office/pilot plant to conduct experiments and trials and collaborate/connect with colleagues.
