Product Development Analyst - Hybrid Schedule Eligible

We are looking for a Product Development Analyst to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in researching, designing, and launching new, innovative banking products, services, and capabilities.

Essential functions of the role:
Research and Analysis:
- Partner with business units to understand strategic intent and priorities
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and trends in the financial sector to propose innovative solutions for product development and enhancements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to banking products and capabilities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze customer feedback, market data, and industry reports to identify market opportunities and gaps.
Product Development:
- Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market research and customer needs.
- Conduct idea generation and concept development for new products, including prototyping and testing/iteration
- Conduct product design work, including buy/build/partner analysis
- Build and present business cases that include desirability/viability/feasibility study, cost/benefit analysis, risks and success metrics
Product Launch and Rollout:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product launch plans, including internal readiness, marketing strategies, and customer communications.
- Monitor product performance, adoption, and customer feedback during the initial rollout phase and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure smooth transition to long-term product/capability owner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or level of education that, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
- Experience in product development, business analysis, project management is preferred
- Experience in banking or finance is preferred
- Expertise with MS Office suite of is required
- Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software is required
