Job Description

Job Title: Library Development Engineer

Position Summary:

The Project Engineer position offers many opportunities for an engineer to use the knowledge and skills learned in a practical setting. The engineer will provide design, support, and assistance in the development of process control related software components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and daily tasks of this position include:

• Development and maintenance of Process Library components using Rockwell Automation software products.
• Technical support of Process Library components.
• Collaborate with team members to adhere to Process Library standards.
• Collaborate with team members to create Process Library objects inclusive of HMI components.
• Assist in the creation of programming standards to be used worldwide.
• Prepare library technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Process Library components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualification:

• Typically needs minimum 8 year's experience.
• Knowledge and experience with RA software (LogixDesigner, FTViewSE)

• Project delivery experience
• Knowledge and experience with the ControlLogix Ladder Logic and Structured Text languages
• Experience with State Machines and sequencing engines
• Experience with large multi-controller project applications
• First-hand coding experience with complex logic algorithm.
• Experience working with Rockwell development software, PlantPAx
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to apply knowledge and experience to standard and unique projects and formulate solutions
• Ability to think out-of-the-box to make creative suggestions and solutions
• Ability to see the end goal of a project and stay focused to work towards that goal
• Willingness and ability to travel (< 10%)
