This candidate is responsible for the coordination of customer projects in close coordination with internal and external partners in USA and internationally, CAD processing and coordination (Catia V5).Primary Responsibilities

• Interfaces and package coordination with the customer
• Planning and tracking of technical specifications and time line record during the entire project
• Development and production-ready design of components and assemblies
• Close cooperation and coordination of development with the production plant
• Creation and coordination of drawings, GD&T, BOMs
• Close coordination of the components/drawings with external partners in USA and internationally
• Data management, PLM, release management
• Prototype management, provision of sub-components for the prototype construction including coordination of suppliers (part tracking, ordering from suppliers)

Years of Experience

• Several years of professional experience as a project engineer in the automotive environment.

Education and Experience

• Mechanical engineer/ electrical engineering (FH/TH) or comparable degree in engineering (e.g. energy, chemical, process or environmental engineering)

Desired Experience:

• Experience with thermodynamic, energy and environmental processes.
• Strong customer orientation of any kind (e.g. communication, presentation etc.)
• CAD Catia V5 knowledge (very good)
• Knowledge of the most common manufacturing processes and appropriate construction
• Distinctive ability to work in a team / flexibility
• Knowledge of automotive electronics requirements such as environmental testing, reliability requirements
• Experienced handling of the most common IT programs such as MS Office
• Desired basic knowledge of ASPICE and PTC Windchill
