Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

As the Product Development Engineer III, you will design, size/select, modify, and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical refrigeration equipment and systems.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval.
• Technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development.
• Coordinate the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering/lab technicians and shop personnel as required by assigned projects.
• Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material.
• May also provide work leadership for lower-level employees.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
• Requires at least 5 years of experience in HVACR or related field.
• Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Experience with analytical and CAD software.
• Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $91,000 - $119,500 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.
