Overview
We’re excited to be looking for a Product Development Manager, Bath Textiles + Accessories, to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Director of Product Development, you'll manage the product development process for our bath textiles & accessories categories, help uncover inefficiencies and improve current process, and drive innovation through new technology and trends.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.
What you’ll do
- Manage and monitor development progress to ensure seasonal development meets scope, timeline, and quality goals
- Identify, plan, and execute projects for growth, productivity, cost, and quality
- Direct deliverables to suppliers on a seasonal basis
- Work with factories to establish milestone dates
- Communicate with suppliers to collect and gather packaging and product specifications
- Prepare brief templates to begin packaging development and track progress
- Lead product development meetings with internal and external teams
- Handle the creation and maintenance of product and packaging technical specifications sheets into the WIP
- Collect and analyze seasonal quotes
- Effectively negotiate and manage final cost
We’re looking for someone who brings
- 4+ years of product development experience in home textiles is a must
- Experience with bath textiles is a plus
- A Bachelor's degree in home textiles, product development, or project management is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel with the ability to analyze and present data
- Experience with MS Office and PLM software
- A strong sense of creative collaboration with cross-functional teams
- A track record of taking initiative, embracing change in dynamic environments, and going the extra mile
Compensation & Benefits
At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is between $90K-$100K.
Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, grant a $1K annual wellness bonus, have commuter benefits, and provide a yearly product allowance.
We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
