As a Product Development PM Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee and ensure all activities for verification and validation of features and vehicle regulations are identified, planned, optimized, and completed.
    • Deliver project requirements with a focus on Quality, On-time Delivery, Cost management, and Feature targets (QDCF).
    • Manage incoming test requests using a risk management approach, with support from Feature Engineers.
    • Define test plan priorities and proactively communicate project risks.
    • Represent the Complete Vehicle organization in project management teams, design reviews, clinics, and other relevant forums.
    • Identify necessary resources and associated costs for simulation, rig testing, and test trucks to execute the V&V plan.
    • Lead feature reviews and report on feature fulfillment, verification, and validation status to the project team.
    • Provide input to project documentation such as requirement specifications, project descriptions, PAP/PDP, risk registers, and lessons learned.
    • Ensure project timelines (level 1-3, commodity/module) encompass all activities needed to fully verify and validate components, systems, and functions.



    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
    • 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.



    Qualifications

    • Leadership experience is preferred.
    • Proficiency in quality tools such as Risk Analysis, FMEA, and Project Assurance quality is preferred.
    • Experience with SAFe Agile methodology is preferred.
    • Familiarity with North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS) is preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills and a positive mindset.
    • Strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders.


    Salary Range: $80k-$85k
