Argo Group is seeking a Product Development Process Analyst to join its Operations team. This position will provide support and assistance to the Product Development and Implementation teams.

The role also includes mentorship and training opportunities in product development by providing an introduction to drafting and analyzing contractual forms/endorsements for various commercial lines of insurance.

The Product Development Process Analyst will report to the Product Development Manager as a remote employee or based in one of Argo Groups office locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and process forms and manual rules for implementation/integration into the company’s forms portfolios and issuance systems via our Workflow processing tool.
  • Analyze and evaluate the quality and accuracy of data as required for entry into the Workflow processing tool.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and Underwriting Business Unit stakeholders to obtain further information in order to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Consult with Product Development Analysts and Underwriting Business Unit stakeholders to record rules of application and explanations of impact for forms, for use in rule manuals and policywriting systems.
  • Review and edit forms and manual rules under moderate supervision in accordance with company styles and standards as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree and/or equivalent in work experience.
  • One to three years of work experience in a professional administrative or operations processing role, preferably in commercial property and casualty insurance.
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to sort, manage, correct, and present data.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and analytical ability. 
  • Must be able to quickly evaluate the accuracy of data and information.
  • Highly effective written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with various levels of the organization to address processing requirements.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills needed. Must display a professional demeanor and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High level of integrity and trust, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $46,000 - $76,200 plus eligibility for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
