The Product Development Specialist will bridge innovation design and efficient manufacturing process by delivering high-quality low cost products that exceed brand expectations. You will find initiatives to communicate improve speed quality & cost through strategic partnerships and processes. You will oversee sourcing & design needs through the development process working directly with US team and factories to execute & elevate tech pack guidelines.

• 5+ years of experience in Product Development building private label apparel products is a must

• Experience in seamless and intimates industry

• Experience defining & tracking all T&As Time and action

• Experience in data maintenance development charts fitting presentations cost negotiations and factory communication

• Understanding the plus size market womens fitting and being passionate in making women feel confident is a plus

• Understand of willing to learn on beauty development is a plus

• Experience in cut & sew is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist on all apparel design & beauty development initiatives

• Support Tech design & PD in all initiatives to improve Product Rating of 4.5+ stars and Fit as expected above 75% on average for all private label products.

• Attend weekly/biweekly fittings

• Establish strong relationships and communication with oversees factories

• Create & Maintain development line sheets for weekly reporting and status checking

• Support product development by owning all initial FOB LC costing.

• Weekly development updates maintained in WIP & Asana for all channels.

• Review daily emails & Track all product development with T&A Tracking in Asana & Development chart.

• Collaborate with Customer Care to review private label PR & FAE to suggest & execute initiatives to improve overall product experience.

• Conduct wear tests with customer base & Analyze results to implement improvements in all private label products. Ensure the success of this process & reporting with our research team.
