What We Offer:
The Index Product Development Specialist will be responsible for developing new indexes that will be benchmarks for financial products such as exchange traded funds (ETFs). The Specialist's main responsibilities will be to:
develop index rebalance and reconstitution models based on both internally and externally generated ideas
- evaluate index models & ideas through back-testing and comparative analysis
- create client-facing analysis based on the results of model development support activities across the index product life cycle - pitching new index ideas to clients, launching and operationalizing new indexes, and creating research content to educate stakeholders on newly launched indexes.

What You Will Do:
- Develop indexes for benchmarking and third-party product creation based upon multiple asset classes from both client driven requests and original concepts. Asset classes include equities, options, fixed income, and crypto.
- Prepare and present customized client presentations including index back tests and comparative index and product performance analyses.
- Use a deep understanding of business/client needs and user experience to build/improve products.
- Fully own an index from development to launch.
- Possess a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the trends in the business.
Qualifications:
- Degree in an analytical, quantitative or STEM field
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Highly motivated with evidence of intellectual curiosity and creativity
- Genuine interest in financial market concepts (e.g. portfolio construction, indexing, ETFs, passive investing)
- Well-organized and able to complete multiple projects at once
- Extremely effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong writing and analytical skills with sharp attention to detail
- Technical proficiency in the following tools: SQL, R, Python, AWS, Databricks, Tableau, FactSet, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office
