Product Director

Job Description

Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Product Director to lead our talented Product Team. The Product Director at Fragomen works with business stakeholders to align the overall vision and business needs with any current and anticipated needs of the Product, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends.

How you will make a difference as a Product Director with Fragomen:

• Lead and manage product teams throughout the product development process, with visibility of all levels of product development, from design to UX to Agile product delivery to marketing and beyond.
• Guide other product leaders and their teams in the delivery of a final product that meets or exceeds specifications and is delivered on time.
• Clarify product vision and steer the firm to a successful product launch
• Develop marketing strategies to promote new products in order to gain market share
• Establish strategic partnerships with Fragomen stakeholders and other industry experts, in order to develop new products or improve existing products
• Manage a team of Product Managers/Product Owners, Designers, Business Analysts, and other staff to develop new products
• Create business cases for new products based on research and market analysis
• Evangelize Product Mindset and Human Centered Design thinking principles, firmwide and in Product teams
• Develop a product roadmap with specific goals and milestones that align with the organization's strategic objectives
• Develop new products from concept to commercialization
• Use data to drive decision making, to ensure best possible outcomes
• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities that meet customer needs
• Prepare budgets for product development projects and manage expenses throughout the process
• Perform talent management and mentorship
• Ensure that products meet compliance standards, including those for security, vulnerability and environmental impact and human health

Let's talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred
• Certifications highly preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience as Product Director, in addition to career history and experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
• Sales and Marketing experience and knowledge is a plus
• Previous experience leading and mentoring staff
• Product Management and Agile certifications preferred, e.g ACP certification, SAFe , Scrum Master, etc.
• Expert level communication skills with a track record in relating technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Extensive experience attracting, managing, coaching, and retaining high-performing team.
• Previous experience using creativity in the workplace to generate new ideas and solve problems
• Experience communicating with marketing, sales, customer or client teams, in addition to experience communicating with external business partners
• Experience with Data Driven decision making
• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques
• Experience managing and working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate an understanding of User Experience (UX) to fully realize our products' potential
