Description

As Product Director, Software Solutions, you will support InVue's mission, which is to improve customer experience, security, and operations for the world's most valuable brands in retail and critical infrastructure; by enabling the development of scalable B2B software products and services.

InVue's IoT solutions empower global customers to gain operational visibility, control access, decrease theft, and enhance user experience in retail stores, datacenter environments, and geo-distributed infrastructure. InVue's software solutions allow businesses to make better decisions, achieve operational targets, and protect their most valuable assets.

Reporting to the VP of Software Solutions, you will enable the development of an IoT platform, customer-centric applications, and services to accelerate InVue's software recurrent revenues. You will engage with top global brands and large retailers to understand some of their most challenging problems and lead the design and development of an innovative software solutions roadmap that leverage InVue's advanced connected sensors, edge devices, and multi-cloud software to connect data from people, assets, and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the optimization of IoT workflows and UX while leveraging InVue's technologies to provide effective and efficient commercial solutions to key customer problems.
  • Lead creation and continuous evolution of software offerings strong value-proposition by facilitating customer discovery, innovation workshops, and development of market-led roadmap to deliver products/services that win by solving key customer problems.
  • Head creation and execution of a customer-centric roadmap, including Live Access and Live Display products value proposition, market fit, pricing and gross margin, sales enablement, and key customer/partner engagements.
  • Lead roadmap commercialization efforts, including software revenue and margin optimization, cloud infrastructure cost management, pricing, and market impact.
  • Lead peers in engineering and product management to define experience outcomes and success metrics, and drive design of IoT platform and cloud-first services across responsive web, Android, and iOS applications.
  • Head software strategic customer engagements to research, design, and evaluate productized IoT solutions to drive accelerated market adoption of InVue's technology.
  • Energize, evangelize, and educate global sales and marketing teams, and partners (VAR, SI, ISV) as to the benefits of InVue's technology stack and product portfolio.
  • Collaborating with engineering to develop foundational architecture for scalable applications and services through the prototyping and testing of workflows and UX.
  • Lead engagement with internal/external stake holders to translate technical value into business value by understanding and effectively solving main customers' problems.
  • Understand market dynamics, voice of customer, competitive product offerings, and bring product improvement and new product recommendations into discussion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience with customer-facing SaaS product management role.
  • 4+ years of product management experience with end-to-end SaaS using agile methodology (strategy, design, launch, execution, zero-to-one, scale, and sustaining).
  • Domain knowledge of the retail space.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success driving adoption and retention for B2B SaaS products.
  • Ability to travel upward of 30%, including global travel.
