Overview
The Product & Engagement Marketing Manager partners closely with our Product and Engineering teams to own the strategic direction and positioning of Grailed products and features across channels to both Buyer and Seller cohorts, leads launch campaigns for new products and features, and optimizes for increased usage of current products and features to support user growth, engagement, and retention. We’re looking for a results-driven owner who can seamlessly transition from synthesizing available data to developing a cross-channel go-to-market strategy for a new feature to influencing cross-functional stakeholders. As part of our Marketing team, you’ll work in an incredibly collaborative environment with a shared goal of consistently improving the experience of our users and driving user retention.
Responsibilities: Ideal Requirements
Compensation Information- Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to launch new features and increase usage of existing features across Buyer and Seller cohorts
- Enhance customer comprehension of core app features to drive more high value user actions, from onboarding experience and feature engagement campaigns to retention initiatives
- Develop data-driven, cross-channel marketing strategies to drive feature adoption, engagement, and conversion, including push, email, and in-product
- Collaborate with creative stakeholders to produce on-brand campaign creative
- Define and communicate a product marketing roadmap aligned with company objectives and supported by customer data, market research, and competitive analysis
- Communicate strategy and data-supported results to key stakeholders including senior management
- Communicate technical requirements to Product and Engineering stakeholder in order to bring to life any new technical innovations required to enhance the user lifecycle
- Partner with growth team to manage the testing, optimization, and implementation of app store copy and creative
- Analyze retention campaign data to determine what is working and not working; Run A/B tests to vet champion/challenger hypotheses to deliver campaign performance. improvement; work with Analytics to construct experiment design briefs, set KPIs, and gauge the incremental impact of a new initiative.
- Own end-to-end project workflow for product marketing cross-channel communications and related lifecycle enhancements. Maintain and communicate product marketing and customer education throughout the lifecycle, working cross-functionally to manage production and execution through QA and deployment.
You are a self-starter who is both an entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker who looks to solve problems, and harness opportunities. To succeed in this position, the following qualities are paramount:
- 5+ years of multi-channel product and/or engagement marketing experience in marketplace, SaaS, mobile, or high growth VC-backed businesses.
- Experience in applying consumer insights to inform and optimize the product experience
- Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing
- Ability to independently drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
- Experience developing strategies to solve ambiguous and complex problems
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is flexible and has high energy to get work done.
- Someone who loves working cross-functionally with internal teams, including product, engineering, and design.
- Excellent communication, project management and time management skills.
- A self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and is comfortable developing and owning their own projects.
- Cross-functional collaborator who can walk in the shoes of our buyers and sellers.
- Passionate about data-driven decision making, with a strong commercial instinct and obsession with the customer experience.
- Able to adapt well to shifts in strategy and meet changing deadlines and priorities.
Compensation at Grailed for full-time employees is a combination of salary, equity, and benefits. Salary range for the Product & Engagement Marketing Manager is $135,000-155,000 on base, with equity and benefits on top.
