We are looking for a talented Product Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our POWER SYSTEMS BUSINESS SEGMENT in Fridley, Minnesota.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes
• Product Failure Mode Avoidance - Mitigates potential product failure modes, by identifying interfaces, functions, functional requirements
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and executes the activities involved in developing a product to a respectively aligned hierarchy of requirements and technical profiles
• Documents information based on knowledge gained as part of technical function activities; communicates to stakeholders with the goal of enabling improved technical productivity
• Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Prior entry level engineering 1 year work experience in a relevant discipline area is required. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred
• Coordinate drawing changes from both internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Able to use Analysis Lead Design (ALD) tools, such as Finite Element Analysis, 3D Modeling, stackups/DVAs, etc to determine root cause of production issues.
• Utilizes rapid problem-solving tools (7-step, 5-Y, Fault Tree Analysis, etc) to resolve production and field issues quickly and permanently.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
