CAD Creo with CAD experience in Plastics and Sheetmetal

  • OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred
• CAD : Proe/Creo (must), UG ( Preferrable), Catia (preferrable) with CAD experience in Plastics and Sheetmetal.
• Competencies- Solid Modelling, Assembly modelling, drafting, GD&T
• knowledge of Driveline/Axle, casting, forging, sheet metal, standards.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
• Customer interaction, problem solving capacity.
• MS-office (Word , excel, PowerPoint)

• Shall be able to create & understand workflow (EWO, SR etc.) in AWC Teamcenter PLM system
• Assist and lead root cause analysis of technical issues
• Provide technical support to customer during all phases of development including pre-sourcing, vehicle validation, product validation, vehicle start of production (SOP), and post-SOP
• Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to internal functions ? Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, and Engineering Management
• Prepare and conduct technical presentations (Customer and Dana internal)
• Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to Dana internal functions including but not limited to; Program Management, Sales, Quality, Warranty, & Engineering Management
• Working experience of cad tools Creo, NX & Catia V5 required
• Thorough understanding of ASME Y 14.5, GD&T, stack-ups
• Understanding of materials, heat treatment & driveshaft assembly process is required
• Working knowledge of Casting, Forging, Stamping, Sheetmetal & Welding processes is essential
• Shall be able to understand & perform design, structural calculations related to driveline
• Hands on experience on Drafting, Assembly, and part modelling
• Strong experience applying systems engineering fundamentals. Working level knowledge of subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly methods and vehicle assembly; subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly.
