In this role, you'll have the chance to support the design, documentation, and optimization of low, medium, and high voltage cable accessories, while gaining broad-based experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With access to a diverse group of professionals and a wealth of resources, this is the perfect opportunity to kick-start your career in engineering with a global industrial technology leader.• Develop a deep understanding of cable accessories and their applications, including low (0-2.5kV), medium (5-46kV), and high voltage (69kV+) products.• Use cutting-edge engineering tools, such as Creo and ANSYS, to design and optimize cable accessories.• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of professionals, including sales, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure products meet customer needs and comply with industry standards.• Work closely with the testing team to design and execute product validation testing according to industry standards, such as UL, ANSI, IEEE, and IEC.• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and innovative solutions to engineering challenges.• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and product specifications.• Participate in networking opportunities to build relationships with colleagues and industry professionals.
What your background should look like:
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program, pursuing a major in Engineering, Focus in Power Engineering preferred. • Graduation date of August 2024 or later.• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Basic CAD knowledge (Creo preferred)

This position is in our Fuquay-Varina, NC office (near Raleigh, NC).

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $ $18.00-$31.00 per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
