The Financial Division oversees all accounting and financial reporting for American Financial Group and Great American Insurance Group.

We are currently in search of a Product Filing Analyst to join our growing team.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating and administering all aspects of filings with state insurance departments. This may include:
    • Compiling all required information and disseminating/communicating necessary information to others.
    • Analyzing and responding to objections and inquiries from state regulatory authorities.
  • Assists in developing new and revised insurance products, policies, and other required forms to ensure compliance with state regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Assists with researching, documenting, and communicating routine compliance related issues.
  • May serve as administrative liaison with others both internal and external to the organization regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, facilities and operations.
  • May review pertinent insurance publications to determine impact on line of business including identifying emerging coverage issues, state regulatory concerns, and business unit needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Business, Liberal Arts or a related discipline.

Experience: Generally, 6 months to 3 years of related experience.
