Product Intelligence Manager

POLITICO's Consumer Team is looking for a Product Intelligence Manager. This manager will be a member of the Consumer Strategy and Operations team, and will help lead a team that plays a critical role in delivering the content experiences produced by POLITICO Focus team to POLITICO's influential audience.

What You'll Do:

• Manage access to and visualization of data for Audience Solutions and Consumer Strategy and Operations teams and other key stakeholders. Data themes include web and email analytics, ad inventory and revenue, ad delivery and performance, product performance and sell-through rates among others
• Combine data from multiple sources for analysis pertinent to success of Audience Solutions or Enterprise partnerships; Propose, conduct, and present analysis that contributes to partnership renewal
• Combine data from multiple sources for analysis pertinent to success of consumer revenue initiatives; Propose, conduct, and present analysis that contributes to increased reader loyalty and conversion (registration or payment)
• Oversee junior Consumer Intelligence group members' performance, responsibilities, workload, and deliverables; provide coaching and feedback for performance improvement; escalate as needed
• Plan and manage onboarding and training of new members of the Consumer Intelligence group; Plan or lead data-focused onboarding sessions for all new members of the Consumer Business teams, as well as sessions to present pertinent insights to existing team members
• Perform analysis used to set pricing for advertising and other consumer products

• Partner with Ad Operations, Data Analytics, Audience Insights, Business Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure proper systems integrations and configurations necessary for analysis
• Partner with Data Analytics, Audience Insights, and other internal stakeholders to set prioritization of data analytics work for Consumer Business division
• Complete special projects and tasks assigned by Executive Director or other executive leaders

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years data analysis and visualization experience in marketing/advertising or digital media
• Experience managing junior members of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Expertise in data management, visualization, and analysis to extract meaningful, actionable insights
• Experience using Domo, Tableau (or similar tools) and SQL, Python (or similar coding languages)
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Extremely detail-oriented and dependable when working on a team
• High level of proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint), KeyNote
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent professional experience required
