The development of our trading functionality and data services is at the core of our business.  Our Technology team includes product specific trading teams, a group that works on connectivity to our institutional investor clients and broker-dealer clients, data and analytics, and web-based development. 

What You’ll Do

In this position, you will work with Product Managers, and technology developers in the development of real-time fixed income trading systems.  You will be part of an Agile Scrum team whose goal is to build new products and enhance existing ones. Being on an Agile Scrum team, you will be asked to engage in the following activities daily:

• Understand business requirements working with the product team
• Perform analysis to understand how the trading system works and provide scrum team with details on the features to be developed
• Help organize and maintain feature/story backlogs and sprints
• Help add detail and elaborate on user stories
• Communicate effectively with sales and client support staff to ensure they understand the priority, features developed, and can adequately explain them to clients
• Learn more about the product that the scrum team is working on

What You Bring to the Table

• Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, graduating in Dec 2023 or May 2024
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem resolution skills
• Team player and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to function well in a competitive, challenging environment, and the ability to deal with changing priorities
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of RDMBS, Jira, Jira Align, MS Visio, Word, Excel, Photoshop/Ulead Photo Impact (or equivalent graphics package for screenshots), and basic SQL queries would be great

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $35.00 USD to $40.00 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
