About the role

We're hiring a Product Lead for Blockchain and DeFi to set the vision for and lead the execution of our investment in building blockchain products and partnerships that drive the adoption of our tokenized assets in the DeFi ecosystem. In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Product and Commercial teams to outline a strategy for growing our assets in the DeFi Ecosystem, identify key areas of investment and transform these insights into products and partnerships that deliver clear value to our customers. This includes building and maintain relationships with Web3/DeFi entities and creating long-lasting partnerships.

What you’ll do 

• Lead 0 to 1 efforts in building new products in DeFi.
• Create and implement a Product and GTM strategy tailored for adoption of Paxos products in the crypto ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across departments, including Business Development, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Compliance, Legal and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of the ecosystem growth strategy.
• Become a domain expert in DeFi and blockchain communities, contributing to the crafting of forward-looking strategies while building a strong customer base.
• Ruthlessly prioritize, directing the team's efforts towards the most promising opportunities and efficiently managing less obvious ones. 
• Own the end-to-end design, development and rollout of new products and blockchains for our tokenized assets. 
• Leverage your leadership and communication skills to drive action across technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continued growth of our product team culture and processes. 

About you 

• Over 8 years of experience in a Product Management role, including time spent in DeFi/crypto companies.
• Deep knowledge of and existing relationships with various players in the crypto ecosystem, including DeFi projects, centralized exchanges and blockchain protocols.
• Proven track record of building high-growth products and directly contributing to their growth. 
• Excellent communication skills, polished, articulate and credible in both business and social settings.
• Extensive experience working closely with commercial teams and customers through all stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Experience or domain expertise in fintech and payments is beneficial.
• Strong intellectual curiosity about new products, businesses and technologies.
• Eagerness to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse, remote-first team.
