Product Lifecyle Management Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Specialist to join our R&D team in Omaha, Nebraska.
As the PLM Specialist, reporting to the Product Lifecycle Management Manager, you will facilitate the creation and maintenance of ingredient specifications and data within Conagra's PLM and ERP systems to meet Research & Development and Food Safety & Quality requirements. You will work closely with R&D Food Designers, Quality, Food Labeling, Regulatory, and PLM Commercialization teams to promote data accuracy, meet project objectives, and support overall business needs. You will participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our business processes and documentation.
Position Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of the end-to-end development and commercialization framework while understanding the impacted systems and processes.
- Participate in large scale recipe re-design projects, providing data entry, analytics and process support.
- Contribute to business process improvement initiatives and the identification of new opportunities.
- Create/Update one point lessons (OPLs) and business process documentation.
- Support the management of ingredient specifications, material master data and documents by entering acquired data into Oracle, SAP and other tools and systems.
- Manage assigned specification and sourcing approval workflows to key business partners, including Product Development, Quality, Labeling and Procurement.
- Ensure data accuracy while meeting designated Service Level Agreements.
- Lead cross-functional business partner meetings on a monthly basis, providing business metric and open issue updates.
- Effectively use defined processes and technology to meet business needs.
- Provide training and participate in knowledge transfer sessions with internal and cross-functional team members regarding Oracle and SAP processes and transactions.
- Build and/or actively utilize reporting and analytics.
- Manage inbox requests from internal and external business partners.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred but experience related to food science or data experience may be considered in leu of college degree.
- 3+ years of business experience, preferably in food development, quality assurance, production, procurement or packaging development.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point required.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle PLM and Winshuttle preferred.
- Sound written and oral communications, change leadership and partnership skills.
- Experience in data management, reporting and systems.
We require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.
This position will be working in the office 2-3 days per week, Monday-Thursday. Fridays are remote working days.
