Product Management Advisor - Express Scripts - Remote

Position Summary:

The Product Management Advisor will be a resourceful professional responsible for supporting the Regulatory Process within the Regulated Markets Division. Responsibilities include:

• Surveillance and monitoring of laws impacting Express Scripts and our client's pharmacy benefit
• Identification of the functional areas within the Express Scripts that are impacted by applicable laws
• Gathering and documenting feedback from impacted Business, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Facilitation of internal cross-functional discussion around the impact of laws
• Identification and documentation of next steps/action items that need to be taken to ensure compliant solutions are put into place
• Support the review process for large scale state and federal rules that impact our Regulated lines of business (Medicare, Medicaid, and Healthcare Reform)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Identifying laws with Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and pharmacy benefit impact through various channels
• Performing official intake of guidance into a regulatory database
• Proficiency in using, supporting, and maintaining tools and systems that support the regulatory process
• Identifying the internal areas impacted by laws and facilitating assignment of guidance review
• Ensuring assessments and action plans associated with laws are completed timely and documented accurately
• Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and alignment on the impact of laws
• Providing notification to Regulated Markets and the broader organization when needed on impactful guidance
• Drafting high level summaries of laws and compiling comments from stakeholders when needed
• Fielding and responding to inquiries related to legislation, regulations, and technical guidance
• Reviewing regulatory records to ensure all necessary information is documented
• Identifying, collaborating, and implementing process improvements when needed to meet compliance and/or stakeholder needs
• Supporting Medicaid contract reviews

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years relevant experience
• PBM and/or Regulated Markets experience, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Healthcare Reform background preferred
• Strong PC computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word
• Excellent communication and presentation skills [written and verbal]
• Must have a high level of organization and interpersonal skills, flexibility to cope with change, and ability to multitask across a variety of assignments
• Self-starter, able to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism in cross-functional relationships and interpersonal interactions
• The ability to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,000 - 148,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
