How Will Your Role Impact First Command?

The Product Management Associate serves as administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Operations, Associate Director, Product Management, senior managers and the Sales Support Team. Duties will have varying day-to-day activities, based upon the workflow and deadline needs. You will be involved in assignments which are broad in design and content. To be successful in this role, you are highly motivated with a strong work ethic and achieves success through working within a self-organized, high-energy team with a desire to serve our clients.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Monitor calls from the rotation line and working the SST ACE Case queue to include completing the development of Morningstar Comparisons, Reg BI Comparison Proposals, and completing research on specific requests as requested by advisors
  • Assist with developing and maintaining knowledgebase resources related to AMS and brokerage processes
  • Collaborate with others to develop and maintain training materials and update knowledgebase resources
  • Coordinate and update AMS forms as requested by home office, field users, or due to changes in regulatory requirements
  • Audit business partner and AMS activities and report findings to Manager, Product Management
  • Serve as department communications coordination liaison for business partner and product owner presentations, announcements, policy changes, training material, etc., ensuring that policy guidance is adhered to
  • Monitor department email accounts (Inv Management Team, AMS, Product Management and Sales Support) and execute responses with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Ensure flawless execution of organizational events, including client and executive / team meetings (schedule, send invites, secure conference room, arrange media, supply food and beverages)
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining necessary inventory of office supplies and materials
  • Assist with development and execution of training materials related to NetX360
    • Serve as subject matter expert in training

What Skills/Qualifications Do You Need?

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office suite applications
  • 2 years' experience in a business setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office and administrative practices and principles
  • Advanced PC skills required: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with emphasis on clarity, grammar and overall effectiveness
  • High attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to professionally deliver training
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with Clients, Advisors, and internal/external business partners, as needed, treating each stakeholder with respect, empathy and support in order to resolve highly complex inquiries and issues
  • Execute with a sense of urgency, a drive to make an impact, and a high level of self-confidence
  • Knowledge of Agile and /or Lean methodology
  • Must be able to work well in high pressure situations and elevated workloads
  • Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment
  • Versatile and adaptable with the ability to "flex" into other support functions as volumes require
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and creative
