The Zayo Product Team is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a track record of building and delivering customer centric products and services.

This position serves as a key leadership role within Zayo's Product Management group. You will own the roadmap to support modernization of the Packet portfolio and NaaS enablement. As a leader, you will partner across stakeholder organizations within Zayo to drive strategies, develop products, and accelerate growth within packet networking. In this role, you will transform customer and marketplace feedback into industry-leading products and experiences. You will bring a deep understanding of the moving parts in the continually evolving ecosystem and, as such, act as the Zayo subject matter expert. You keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, technology innovation, and regulatory developments.

Success in the role requires experience in engineering, strategy or development for 3+ years, demonstrated leadership working with senior executives, and hands-on ability to drive design.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for global product vision, strategy and roadmap focused on the evolution of a modern customer centric approach, driving the NaaS vision and roadmap

• Deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market requirements and overall product needs

• Deliver NaaS solution by utilizing software and hardware partners, driving technical requirements with internal development, network architecture and engineering, coordinating across multiple products including Cloud / Multi-Cloud Connectivity, Internet, Ethernet and WANs for NaaS 

• Partner with finance on business case development for strategic investments

• Recognized as the subject matter expert providing internal and external evangelism of product vision and thought leadership to potential customers and market analysts.

• Manage and influence a diverse cross-functional set of internal and external customers, stakeholders and executive sponsors

• Collaborate closely with technology, software, and operations teams to provide clear direction on product backlog, epic and user story requirements, and feature delivery

• Enable sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams with tools and materials to drive product growth

• Communicates complex concepts and business cases while anticipating potential objections and achieves senior executive alignment 

• Anticipates business / industry changes and is proactive in recommending and driving investments, strategy and execution 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in a Product Management or Technical Development leadership role

• Experience in product management of a telecommunications, SaaS and / or cloud-based company

• You are familiar with Cloud and networking technologies and the concepts of NaaS and SDN/NFV in terms of enterprise customer networking needs and solution development

• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and bring out the best in the team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

​ Base pay range: $120,000 - $176,000, commensurate with experience
