Product Management, Growth Intern

MyFitnessPal, you’ll have the opportunity to spend 10 weeks with our Product Team and work on projects that directly impact our product and users.

Are you passionate about empowering others and making a difference in their lives? As a Product Management Intern you will learn how agile teams at MFP work towards creating value for our users.

• Support product teams in day to day activities
• Learn to use A/B testing, growth hacking, data analytics, user research, and modeling to influence OKRs, identify business opportunities, and build a roadmap
• Analyze competitive landscape, identifying sector trends, and understanding how different competitors create growth
• Identify growth opportunities at the intersection of user needs and business impact
• Gain experience on how the product teams work, from sprint planning to launching new features
• Get familiar with how to create specs, requirements, stories, and any other product specifications needed to move through the agile lifecycle
• Develop and deliver a project while learning something new, in an area of your interest and with autonomy
• Be mentored by an experienced teammate through the internship and advance in your career goals
• Show off your work and impact to the entire company at the end of your internship

• Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:
• Undergraduate students graduating between December 2023 and May 2024 (rising Juniors or Seniors)
• Students completing their master’s degree between December 2023 and May
• 2024
• Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program
• Desire to learn more about consumer mobile apps with large scale audiences
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, and report back insights to stakeholders
• Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally with all members of the organization

• Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment

• Paid internship with potential conversion to full time upon graduation
• Remote equal philosophy enabling you to work from any state in which we have
• operations in the continental U.S. (currently, not including AK, HI)
