As an Intern, you're able to make a real impact, while growing and learning more about your profession of choice. As a Product Management intern, you'll step into a role that will provide a diverse workload best suited for a well-rounded skill set.

What You'll Do

The Product Management Intern will work with the Product Manager in the project management of existing and new solutions by taking a product(s) and/or program(s) from ideation to execution. This position will assist in the execution of initiatives impacting Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) strategy. Responsible for illustrating a driven attitude and can manage multiple priorities while consulting with cross-functional partners on different initiative types.

Essential Functions

  • Manage cross-functional strategic projects and programs, analyzing data to provide content for strategic directions and be responsible for managing project plans to execution.
  • Support the creation of new solutions and pilots for clients/members; partnering in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently with minimal direction.
  • Assist in the planning and successful execution of larger cross-functional projects, which include defining project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and work plans.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional partners on network projects.
  • Manage to tight deadlines for multiple competing priorities, scope, and converging opinions to solution in a timely manner.
  • Analyze complex situations; transform issues into options and drive to appropriate conclusions.
  • Synthesize and analyze data into summaries to assist decision-makers.
  • Provide project management for strategic and tactical projects.

Qualifications

  • Rising Junior or rising Senior in college majoring in Supply Chain or Business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)

Additional Information:

Location: Hybrid in Saint Louis, MO. A hybrid position means that you will be expected to work in-person at your assigned office location more than 50% of time per week, with flexibility to work at home for balance of time. The internship is paid, and housing assistance is not offered.

Work Authorization: One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work for the duration of the internship.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
