Product Management Lead Analyst - Remote
Job Description
The candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring that assigned Products and capabilities are at or above competitive parity. The area of focus is the Senior Segment products/services aligned with employer, affinity and potentially other distribution channels. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Local Markets Finance, Marketing, Network, Business Operations, Pharmacy, Segment/Sales Leaders, IT, Compliance, RAF, Stars, Actuary and vendor partners.
- Supports product vision and supports product development strategies to drive membership and earnings growth
- Partners with and independently navigates matrix partners/organizations such as Finance, Marketing, Business Operations, Pharmacy, Network, Segment/Sales Leaders, Compliance and IT, Product and Business Operations to identify new product and/or enhancements that will result in increased membership/earnings.
- Understands customer needs (proposes, influences and shapes market research, can turn customer insights into action), external environmental influences, and competitive offerings and provides key input to segment/product strategies
- Participates in the innovation process representing customer insights/needs, brainstorming/out of the box thinking to identify solutions, developing concepts and launching/monitoring pilots and results
- Represents CIGNA at industry forums, customer events
- Helps support project proposals to obtain funding for product enhancements
- Provides input to the prioritization process to ensure items are appropriately prioritized
- Assists in development of product specifications and project requirements
- Supports product lead for the implementation of new product/enhancements
- Provides product/marketplace direction throughout project lifecycle
- Serves as the voice of the market for the project team
- Supports tactics to maximize product advantages bringing brand management mentality to assigned products. Independently develops business and marketing plans for products released to market, including pricing strategies, sales plans and implementation strategies.
- Supports all the project management common processes including scope management, risk management, financial management, communication management, maintains product scorecards and product binders.
- Helps to manage complex business issues end to end; evaluating trade off decisions and developing recommended course of actions
- Assists in resolution of issues, escalating when appropriate
- Aids in development and implementation of sales training
- Proven ability to independently navigate areas and help manage projects that are outside current area of expertise
- Serves as point of contact for Sales
- Ensures effective and positive relationship across the senior segment project teams

- Experience working in diverse disciplines.
- Medicare Advantage and/or Part D product experience is a plus.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 71,900 - 119,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
