The Whole Life Product Management Team is responsible for all aspects of product development and inforce management of the Whole Life product line. This role will be responsible for supporting these efforts, while also assisting with specific cross-functional initiatives. The role requires an individual prepared to build on an existing foundation of general life insurance knowledge with a strong interest in furthering their whole life insurance focus. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The role will collaborate with members from across the organization including Technology, Service, Agency, and Marketing.

The Senior Associate will report directly to the Whole Life Product Manager within the Life Products department.

Primary responsibilities in support of product management tasks/projects include:

  • Represent product line as the liaison between the business and technology systems during requirement gathering and implementation planning stages of various projects
  • Collaborate with other members of the Life Products organization in prioritization discussions to schedule effective implementation strategies
  • Support elements of product development process spanning ideation to implementation, engaging with various stakeholders across the company throughout
  • Become reliable point of contact and resource for whole life product specific questions (both currently offered and legacy)
  • Assist with policy related inquiries from case management team, Service teams and Agency partners
  • Assist WL product manager in prioritizing new illustration enhancements across Life Products organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with general life insurance knowledge, Whole Life preferred
  • Ability to plan and execute independent and team projects within reasonable timeframe
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to various stakeholders
  • Flexibility to juggle and prioritize, supporting efforts across multiple high priority projects; must be organized and detail oriented
  • Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) software
  • Experience working in an Agile Framework and using associated software (Rally, Jira, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with team members/partners

Salary range: $72,500-$107,500

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No
