Summary of the role:

Navitaire's SkyLedger hosted revenue accounting services simplifies and streamlines passenger revenue accounting for airline and rail carriers, offering powerful reporting capabilities, a full reconciliation between New Skies® booking data and accounting sub-ledger transactions, and a direct feed to the carrier's general ledger.

The SkyLedger Product Reporting and Data Analyst will work closely with our development team, customers, and product leadership to bring our product offering's data solution forward. The individual will become an expert in our product's data model from both a technical and functional perspective while working with both internal and external parties to find better ways to make that data available to our stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Become an expert in the SkyLedger data model and develop a deep understanding of the various methodologies used to extract SkyLedger data.
• Address SkyLedger customer support requests that pertain to reporting or data extraction
• Document the SkyLedger data model in a functionally complete manner for use by other team members and potentially by customers who retain local copies of the SkyLedger database.
• Develop a stub/baseline query repository that can be used to aid less experienced team members or customers in research/investigation activities.
• Build relationships and interface with Navitaire staff outside our team in an effort to help our product benefit from any broader company initiatives surrounding data access.
• Potentially assist in the development of our own Revenue Accounting/SkyLedger specific data warehouse solution.
• Act as primary team liaison for customers who have on prem copies of the SkyLedger database.
• Gain familiarity with SkyLedger's integration to Oracle Business Intelligence and use that knowledge to help improve our repository of metadata and help customers who are utilizing this tool (and other existing data extraction tools) to access our data.

About the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 Years Work Experience in Software Development, Business Analysis, or Data Related Field
• MS Suite of Products
• SQL, XML languages

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools
• Software Development background
• Understanding of Airline Industry
• Understanding of financial accounting practices/solutions
